As a teacher, I find it mildly amusing that all these fitness to practice tribunals take place during the summer holidays. There’s a certain irony to it.
Every three or four weeks there is a similar case in the UK, how many of these things happen and no now reports it

I feel a lot of people don’t get into teaching for the right reasons. They see the benefits of the job and have no actual passion for educating young people
Why is it when we’ve a shortage of teachers, we never seem to have a shortage of pedos diddling kids.

And it’s a frickin crying shame because I know good teachers who’d loved this fellows job and set upon him a proper kicking for coherecing and assaulting a student like that, who are constantly told they’ll only be temps unless they go abroad.
We’re gutting education to keep pricks like that in circulation, so that schools are constantly underfunded and underchecked from everything from supplies to this. My old principal use to put the bins out himself with the school cleaners because he said, if the bins didn’t get emptied, who’s to say what else would come apart.
I hope the bloke spends whatever jail time he gets specifically under a window where the birds shit on him everyday. And I hope that poor girl has a much better life after surviving his abuse.

The Principal of my sons school left his wife and kids for a student once she completed 6th year. They’re now married with kids but it’s not a good look.
Age of consent in Ireland is 17 and she was 18 at the time, is this really that bad ? Firmly believe if you swapped the genders here that many people would feel “ah sure it’s grand” about it and the lad would brag to his mates about it till his dying day.
Only issue I see here is that he was her teacher apart from they are both consenting adults.
Anyone’s capable of this shit but the way the world is going the more this type of case happens, it does so much more damage for the reputation of men.
Bad actors of the male variety just can’t seem to fucking help themselves to vulnerable targets and it makes it harder for those of us who just try to abide by society lawfully. Obviously it’s not enough to just try to go on standby and co-exist but this is exactly why people leave men the fuck alone.
Men will die lonely and without someone to love and it’s because abhorrent pieces of shit like this exist to make the risk of being vulnerable with a man not worth it.
