>Key growth sectors with strong potential for increased UK investment include clean energy, digital transformation, biotechnology and healthcare, alongside enabling sectors such as legal, professional and financial services.
I know we should celebrate any trade relations that aren’t with dodgy nations but digital transformation?
Japan from a digital standpoint is best described as “advanced for 1980 perpetually stuck in the year 2000”. They are more nostalgia driven than the UK, and that’s saying something. Their websites are hilarious fun if you want to experience a time machine of slapped together old tech. I’ve got japanese colleages who are awesome, but transformative is not the word I would go with for their methodology.
They still adore fax machines and old tech – and all the power to them for keeping it alive.
