In Finland speeding tickets that go 20+ km/h over the limit are relative to the persons income and the severity of the danger posed to others. Thus the sums can get high if the speeder is wealthy enough and the offense deemed serious enough.
It’s a pretty old news article, as it happened two years ago.
And the person in question is rich enough he doesn’t seem to care much. He’s racked up high tickets before and hasn’t changed his behavior. In 2013 he paid a 95 000 € ticket and 64 000 € in 2018.
Later the same year, 2023, he got another 60 000 € ticket for running a red light.
