Nice, this medens a lot to flat Denmark, in the pic you see we have a cliff

    2. Nice! At first glance, it seemed small to me – only later I noticed the people for scale.

Gorgeous place. Never found so many belemnites as on those beaches.

Can recommend a visit. Fair warning put on walking foot wear. It is not the 8 km or so of walking along the coast in the dense forest that will tire you out, but the numerous trails up and down the cliffs. So many steps. I dare you to count them all.

The old town of Stege on the island is also worth visit. Tiny city but rich in history.

    5. It’s about to be another lost wonder of the world. The coastlines of Denmark are eroding like nobody’s business, and there’s plenty of feuds with local municipality and state agencies over illegally placed stormbreaks to try and save (vacation)homes on the top of cliffs similar to this.

Sorry for the question, what exactly makes it worthy of UNESCO status?
(Not downplaying its importance, just genuinely curious, considering I think UNESCO is a flawed system. There are many things not listed that are just as valuable or important)
