Remember how Merz was promising to deliver Taurus before elections?

i think them now funding new ukrainian made long range weapons is better than them sending a few Taurus cruise missiles.

    3. It seems to be within Germany’s interest that the war in Ukraine lasts as long as possible

**2023.** There has been a clear no since 2023.

Other countries no’s get accepted without discussion, but here we are again, debating a weapon system that has been ruled out two years ago to find something to get people riled up over again.

This is ridiculous, and the constant mud throwing only serves Russia by destroying public support for weapons deliveries in the german public.

    5. Merz is going to make history as the politician with the most broken promises.

The Euro-federalists who were cheering on Merz are getting eggs on their faces now. He isn’t any better than Scholz or even Merkel.

    7. It’s very disappointing. I thought he would do more to help Ukraine.

These likely don’t work, or are too susceptible to interception / detection that germany doesn’t want the world to learn about their most advanced (?) but ultimately useless missiles.

lol feels weird reading bad news about Ukraine aid that doesn’t involve the orange moron.

I’m guessing Germany concern with Russia? Pull a Trump and “sell” to NATO and have NATO deliver to Ukraine.

always felt EU needs to bolster its own defense, not lean on Uncle Sam so much. Kinda hypocritical for Germany tho.
