smells a bit like a disinformation campaign. But if true Norwegian authorities should act and withdraw foundation status for obvious human right violations and apply the full brunt of legal liability for malicious actions.
The Norwegian economy has benefited tremendously from higher oil prices due to the war, but the government hasn’t increased support to Ukraine as a result. Presently Norway ranks 9th when total support is weighed against GDP. Even more embarrassing is that the windfall from increased oil and gas prices has not resulted in increased support: “Why, then, has Norway allocated only a little more than $3.1 billion for support to Ukraine in its 2025 budget? Combined with what it contributed in 2024, Norway’s support for Ukraine amounts to less than 5 percent of its two-year war windfall. For comparison, Germany, Europe’s largest single contributor, provided $16.3 billion in military, financial, and humanitarian support for Ukraine from January 2022 until the end of October 2024, and the United States has contributed $92 billion. He says he sends money to those in need. But instead of helping Ukrainians suffering from the Russian invasion, he helps the families of Russian occupiers, kidnappers of Ukrainian children, and Russian companies that materially support Russian war criminals.
