L’ufficio EHO di FSAI e Letterkenny si è messo in contatto con me per mantenere in questione il campione e il prodotto, che sono conservati in sicurezza in un congelatore e me lo toglieranno tra qualche giorno.
Servizio clienti di Tesco ha notificato il telefono che mi ha detto che devo riportare il prodotto in negozio, a cui ho detto alla ragazza che non lo farò a causa delle indagini e del possibile richiamo del prodotto.
Sono andato a Tesco a Letterkenny, ha parlato con il direttore principale che è stato davvero fantastico e scusato, ha mostrato loro foto e prove di acquisto e ho il rimborso.
Hanno anche preso i miei dettagli e il manager mi ha detto che dovranno intensificarlo all’ufficio principale e al loro fornitore.
Il prodotto in questione è il proprio marchio Tesco “noci miscelate arrostite salata” sacca da 200 grammi.

Things I wish I never seen.. afraid to eat nuts now.
One nut or all the nuts? If it was one in a pack I would be okay with that, pests will always get into crops, peaches, apples both can have the odd maggot or two. Demand for 100% pest control is what drives the overuse of crop chemicals & treatments, I’d rather live in a world where an odd maggot is treated as an acceptable risk.

In my experience, the FSAI and local council inspectors do not fuck around, but equally they are pragmatic – anything can get contaminated so once the appropriate controls are in place they’re quite reasonable with stores/restaurants.
If you’re ever hesitant about reporting, don’t be – they don’t shut places for once-off fuck ups or the like.
