The Khatai District Court issued a verdict against the head of the Center for Monitoring Elections and Training for Democracy (CMVOD), Anar Mammadli.
At a meeting chaired by Judge Sulkhane Gadzhieva in the Khatai District Court, a preventive measure was chosen against him in the form of imprisonment for a period of 3 months and 28 days.
A.Mammadli was detained yesterday. He was charged under Article 206.3.2 (smuggling by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
