Belfast rap trio Kneecap have announced new tour dates to play their “biggest run of shows ever” across Britain.
The move comes after Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was charged in May with a terrorism offence relating to displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at the O2 Forum in north London, during a gig in November 2024.
I look forward to a spike in UK salt exports. This should be fun 😉
They are overrated had a couple of ok songs but are all hype because music these days is complete rubbish.
Good on em. If anything the controversy has just introduced them to a wider audience.
It’s almost like these attempts to silence them are making them _more_ popular.
