Don’t get your hopes up, the orange clown gave russia 2 weeks to come to the negotiation table 3 months ago, this is just more theatrics in the same vein.
That bastard will flip-flop on the issue like he always does. Unless there’s some major shift in the battle, the fighting will continue to drag out. From where I’m sitting either Nato needs to finally get involved or China needs to play land grab with Russian territory. I suppose the Russian economy could finally collapse but it’s been “collapsing” since the invasion began. I’m getting so sick of hearing it.
Bottom line, unless Trump is willing to give way more than the previous administration, (given his track record, that’s a colossal if) nothing will change. Ukraine needs real support not this piecemeal bullshit.
