Not surprised. They run their staff ragged. Giving them little time to do jobs properly as they clock watch them. Gotta meet shop targets.
When I was at sainsburys years ago we used to have to check everything once a day in the evening. It later got changed so everything that got delivered had the sell by date record so you only checked items that the delivery said had to be sold by, it would lead to some products only getting checked once a week because that was how frequent the sell by on the deliveries was.
Sure it took like half a shift to check an entire department, but damn the amount of stuff we fished off on the regular was high
Asda is no longer controlled by Walmart, but Walmart still has a stake and a capital fund co-owns most of it. Couldn’t pay me to eat there and I just had ice cream for dinner.
