Unfortunately that’s most dictatorships, the question is can people take them down anymore in the age of AI, internet tracking and suppression?

That’s the sad part despite Turks, Serbs, Georgians, Bangladeshi, Venezuela and Indonesians best efforts, the international world and the Business elite (the real rulers) don’t give a shit about democracy rule of law or rights

It’s about the global economy and we are all products to be exploited at well, rather then the enlightenment ideal

Sigh, I really hope a miracle comes for Turkey

      Edit: spelling

    4. And Erdogan wants to know who they are.

But he won’t be able to get re-elected indefinitely.

99% might not be enough…if Erdoğan is in the remaining 1%

Don’t worry, those in Germany will try everything to save him again. They just love looking down on those they left behind.

If 2/3 of Turkey want Erdogan gone, maybe they shouldn’t have voted for him just 2 years ago??
Their currency has collapsed by over 95% in a little over a decade, entirely down to Erdogan’s disastrous ‘leadership’, I lived there throughout the 2010s and visited again last year, the difference is staggering, other than the terrible economic situation. the has been massive Arabic immigration & Islamification. When I first went there, maybe 30% of women covered up, now its closer to 70%.
There has also been a huge pivot towards trying to attract rich tourists (read: Arabs) with expensive shopping malls being built like there’s no tomorrow, 10s of Millions of dollars worth invested, which is great if buyers are pouring in, but the currency situation is so bad they’ve stopped coming, so finally big business is feeling the pinch after years of supporting Erdogan.
