That’s because Trump’s promises mean precisely nothing.
When the weapons are sitting mounted on Ukrainian planes and launchers, then it means something.
Tomorrow it will be turned around. This guy is not to be trusted. A Trump promise is worth as mutch as baked air. If he turns so easely from his b*tthole buddy, he will turn and turn and turn.
Only thing that counts is action.
Trump does so many U-Turns that it almost looks like a perfect circle.

Because he’s basically giving Russia a month and a half of free reign to bomb the hell out of Ukraine. Then go “We want a ceasefire!”. Then go back to bombing a few days later when they’ve sorted out some stuff/payments and trades.
