This seems like a rather massive oversight. And you could almost justify an emergency regulation under the Public Health Act to fix it, which would then give the government time to pass the law to permanently fix it.

They were giving out free samples of these on the street to teenagers heading into TRNSMT festival at the weekend, I was really shocked that they’re allowed to do that.

Stores that are caught selling illegal goods should be forced to close and the state should seize all there stock not just illegal goods as investigations show the store will quickly restock and continue selling contraband if allows to stay open.

Do you think football has made more teens aware of these as a lot of football players use them pre game or during training to get a quick buzz on, stuffing 3-4 of them in at a time.
I tried them, didn’t get it, just made my gum spicy and create lots of bad tasting saliva that was horrible to swallow.

These have been increasingly popular over the last couple of years at the college is teach, the parents are either oblivious or dont care too much that their kiddos are using it.
I’ve tried to compare the amount of nicotine to cigarettes, and the majority of the young people don’t care, “could be worse, I could smoke to” is the response.
