Did Euros really loose that much? Maybe the access to the only decent European financial city got trickier but the rest seems a bit overdone. Probably more cultural signalling than real impact across the EU

It was the most idiotic decision with the worst possible timing in modern history.
But it is what it is and we need to look forward. The new agreement is a good way to strengthen European security and deepen ties with the UK, especially in the context of a possible disintegration of NATO in future.

Europeans like Merz and Macron need to get over with it. Repeated deploration of the Brexit vote will never go well down with the British people and wont help to foster a long-term and positive relationship over the decades as Britain will one day inevitably swing back to a right-wing or Conservative government who will remember these comments.
After all, accumulating the People’s wealth is no longer fun when the government is trying to get them back.

And I deplore what the EU is.
People need to understand we voted to remove ourselves from a federalising state, not from Europe.
The people in the EU who are upset about that need to grow up.

Can someone explain to me why we make any deals? Didn’t they want out thinking they do better on their own?
Why exactly are we making deals helping them with this stupid decision? Let germany, italy, france and spain leave as well and make their own favorable deals….

No matter what’s your opinion on Brexit, it’s not on foreign leaders to comment on the decisions made by the British electorate, parliament and government in this manner.
