It’s a foolish claimant who takes on Supermacs, bizarre that they refused to look at the footage also…

    2. No acting awards for this one that’s for sure.

Don’t think she even made contact with the hoover 😂

That is the most staged fall ever.

She looked up, saw the hoover, deliberately changed course from walking directly out the door to walking down the lane with the hoover in it, and then elaborately ‘fell’ over the hoover while carefully not stepping on it at any point.

Judging the book by it’s cover.

Her looking at CCTV, clearly deliberate.

How is she going to survive outside? With all those kerbs, bins, dogs, children, etc?

Dear God, I think the Oscar can go to someone else this time

    6. The video is perfect.

      Spots hoover

      Pauses

Goes backwards slightly and adjusts path

Goes long way around for no reason

Carefully steps through gap between handle and hoover

Hits the deck without ever touching it

      Looks around immediately for attention

      Holds back showing “pain”

      Chancer.

For 1% of the population this group have 30% of personal injury claims in ireland

“Wholly distracted on her phone” wasn’t why she fell at all but at least the judge made the right decision

Not a big fan of the Judge’s reasoning there. Contributory negligence should have reduced the payout, not dismissed the claim. It was negligent to leave the hoover there and it could have easily caused injury. If the judge thought it was staged he should have said so instead of praising the person for being honest.

Different people but it’s always the same faces.

Can we have actual punishment for these cheating cunts? Is that not remotely possible no?

Didn’t her brief have a look at the video before proceeding further?

      Interesting fact!

Pat McDonagh got so sick of insurance companies paying out on bogus personal injury claims that he decided to insure himself.

He has won heaps of cases over the years.

Insurers in Ireland just settle, or pay out and pass the cost on to their customers, which is a load of bollocks.

Why does Supermac’s seem to get targeted the whole time?

This kind of behaviour should carry serious consequences beyond just covering the costs. It should be treated as a crime in its own right – essentially, it’s a form of theft and fraud.

I fell in a pharmacy once. There was a big wet floor sign, but I was in a world of my own. It was the morning of a wedding and I was flying around getting sorted. I was on my phone ticking off the “pick up eyeshadow palette” task when both legs went from under me and I took an awful hop off the floor. I. Was. Mortified. I got up, *I* apologised, and practically sprinted out of there. A pharmacist chased me down (probably thinking I was a nutjob like the lady above). She brought me back, made sure my palette wasn’t damaged and even gave me a tester for some tan drops. I don’t envy anyone dealing with the public but I know in that scenario I just wanted the ground to swallow me whole and I definitely didn’t want it plastered all over the internet lol

Even Neymar would be embarrassed by that dive..

I’m hoping she gets caught for at least her own legal costs..
