Doing it seems very natural since many of us have been dragged into work while doing something else, though posting a photo on social media seems a bit contrived. I guess that’s why he’s a politician.

No he’s not afraid of ticks or anything like that. This is basically norway’s national pastime. Hiking is something that’s basically available to everyone in the country, as managed nature is just a few kilometers away from any place in the country. and i want to stress, that it’s managed. It’s not chaos, it’s overseen. sometimes it gives you an illusion that it’s untouched free range nature, but it’s not. it’s all mapped out, every mountain top has a Varde, every trail is regularly checked up on by the government. It’s the national passtime, it’s important that it’s safe.

A fun fact. As a youngster in our Labour party youth organization Stoltenberg was anti NATO. These days too many young people start at far right, I do not know if they will change?

The best part is, this is work. You see him work. Politicians and rich people claiming to work 60 hrs a week, this is it.
This feels like a slow news day post to me. Not sure what the story is even. Isn’t this just normal? Mobile phones are hardly new.
How convenient, and what a coincidence, that a photographer just happened to be nearby to capture this shot of “ordinary” Stoltenberg, as if to show us he’s just a regular guy sitting on a tree stump and wearing clothes from Decathlon. Truly heartwarming. Or wait, maybe it was his wife who took the picture and decided to share this glimpse of the simple everyday life of a simple man with the whole world.
Does it not feel a bit fake the fact that he conveniently just happened to have a photographer available to take a picture while out for a casual walk.
He doesn’t look like he’s hiking. the clothes aren’t appropriate and he has no hiking equipment. the more I look at it it looks like a man who stepped outside to make a phone call and told his PA to take a pic.
