    1. Thankfully got a pair yesterday with Three Presale but the general release prices got crazy there

    2. they sold out in like 10mins, went on ticketmaster resale an hour later, probably scalps.

    3. creakingwall on

This is unreasonable. How do they think they can get away with this?

Chose Manchester over Dublin, was £85 for floor which is pricey but my max was 100 quid a ticket.

    5. fedupofbrick on

Saw Dylan tickets were going for up 192 quid and 120 for restricted viewing. This can’t get normalised

    6. shorelined on

Fucking hell was that standing? They’d gone by the time I got in at 30 seconds past 9, but still paid 80 quid for seating.

    7. justformedellin on

Íosa Chriost, that’s worse than Bon Dylan. I got Bob Dylan today and I thought I got ripped off. I just want to see Bob Dylan before he dies. Will the adeftoned be dying anytime soon?

20 quid service fee. That’s extortionate! How is this justified by ticketmaster. Seriously. Something has to be done about this utter nonsense. How can we stop ticketmaster?

    9. Frosty_Potato_5220 on

Are these dynamic pricing or VIP or what?Thank fuck I got standing presale for 86.

    10. Imaginary_Ad9171 on

I got a standing ticket for €86 on the mcd presale, got them at 1 yesterday and the presale was open since 9

    11. Dirtygeebag on

OP did you buy them? Because if you did, that there is why they are priced as they are.

    12. Long-Confusion-5219 on

Is this like Pantera where they started at 80/90 then jumped very fast because of demand? Or did they actually start there?

    13. railwayed on

There’s very few artists that I would consider spending that much money for a ticket on. Over 200 a ticket is just ridiculous. Thank god most of the music I like is small venues

    14. Grumpschap on

Mad. I picked them up in the presale yesterday for 87 quid including all the Ticketmaster taxes. That’s for seats in the middle place. Just picked up two, told a few of the lads can get them whenever, never thought it would sell out like that… Dynamic pricing is a joke.

    15. restartthepotatoes on

Was anyone able to get standing tickets? Or did they sell out in the presale?

    16. ZDroneDotIE on

Why can’t we just have a proper middle sized stadium? Cramming everyone into the 8000 capacity 3Arena when the majority of bands there could pull 15000 plus easily.

Is there any middle ground between the Aviva and 3Arena? Because that’s a huge middling gulf. Even the RDS can host up to 40,000.

    17. Fuzzywigs on

More dynamic pricing. Artists who permit this should be shunned.

    18. madethisupyouknow on

This is Ticketmaster being absolute thieving cunts. Tickets weren’t that price originally, for example I bought tickets this morning for the Glasgow show for £68 each including their bastard fees. Then in no time at all you have resellers posting up the tickets they just bought for £195 upwards. Ticketmaster don’t care because they get a cut when they sell and again when the tickets resell. It’s a fucking disgrace and should be illegal. Fuck Ticketmaster.

    19. ironictoaster on

Seen these in Vicar St. in 2017, it was a hell a lot easier to get a ticket albeit for a smaller venue.

Also, couldn’t get a standing ticket with the album presale. Admittedly, I am surprised by the demand of this gig. They have gotten a considerable following since 2017.

    20. geralt1234567 on

What’s a venue facility fee? Never seen that before.

    21. ElmanoRodrick on

Are you sitting or standing? Mine weren’t as bad. Still a big chunk of money compared to the price the last time I seen them in Vicar.

    22. boiler_1985 on

Cheaper to fly to the uk, hotel and tix for less than this shit. And cheaper drink, 2 for 1 cocktails everywhere. Don’t bother going to gigs here, usually go over there.

    23. Alive_Tough9928 on

I paid considerably less for metallica + pantera + gojira and two support bands over two nights!
Does that not suggest the deftones are to blame here?

    24. ivan-ent on

Dunnow why people keep paying these prices absolute robbery haven’t been to a big gig in ages they are just ripping everyone off

    25. meatbeernweed on

Imagine telling a 14 year old in 2005 that they’d be paying 400 euros for Deftones tickets in their 30s.

Ticket prices are insane. I know it’s pretty much what bands rely on for solid income but that’s wild
