Someone tell her not to use healing balm before the lawsuit

Hey, i’ve seen this one before.

Guess it’s gonna come down to what temperature McDonalds is dispensing hot drinks again.

      > Levi claimed she was handed the hot chocolates from the drive-thru with “no warning” as to how hot they were.

If I ordered hot chocolate, it would surprise me if it was anything but hot, with that said drinks shouldnt be served so hot they hospitalise people

It does sound like McDonalds forgot their expensive lesson though

Hot drinks are known for being……hot 🤷‍♀️ it’s the dumbing down of society again. Responsibility is on mum or whoever the adult was to ensure the child is safe and suitable measures are taken to avoid exactly this.
Guess the responsible adult is feeling guilty and trying to blame someone else

Maybe don’t drink hot chocolate in a moving vehicle

It’s been many years since I worked there but hot chocolates at the time did come out at basically boiling temperature, you definitely couldn’t take a sip for a good 5-10 minutes lol.

This is why it’s next to impossible to get a piping hot drink anywhere – because of people like this. What do you expect when you order a hot drink? for it to be cold? and is it a bright idea to be driving in a car when you have very hot drinks around kids? parent takes no responsibility here. ridiculous, this.

    7. Chocolate drink so hot it’d leave severe burns 5 minutes later is insane, to what temperature do they prepare them to

    8. Underscore_Blues on

Poor parenting handing your 8 year old child 5 hot drinks to put on their lap whilst you’re driving. “A few minutes after” too – my guess is a bit of overzealous cornering or braking force applied by the parent.

This is the same reason why chicken nuggets arnt piping hot anymore 😭

This has been a problem for many years. It should never be BOILING hot, it is simply too dangerous if you drop it.

I’ve often bought hot chocolate and it’s not as hot as say tea or coffee, I’d be interested to know how hot it was

    12. Flat_Revolution5130 on

So what were her parents doing. Because i can tell how hot a drink is before giving it to a child.

    13. weirdhoney216 on

I don’t even trust myself with a hot drink in a car never mind a child, my heart would be in my mouth

    14. ironmaiden947 on

Why the hell do companies serve their hot drinks boiling hot? Costa does the same with their coffees, it takes 20 minutes for them to cool down to a point you can drink them. What is the purpose??

    15. GoldenDrummer on

Not sure whose fault this was in honestly but I can confirm McDonald’s hot chocolate is essentially molten lava where I am as well

    16. Radiant_Pudding5133 on

Spamming this everywhere. Want some karma or something?

    17. JohnnyTightlips5023 on

“No warning that it would be hot” when buying… hot… chocolate

    18. Before anyone goes jumping at the child/parent, let’s everyone just take a step back and remember exactly how this played out last time and Maccies were found to be serving their drinks unreasonably hot.
