Major substantive takeaway for me is that the agenda of immediate topics with the US seems right, and that this may be an effective way of adding a little bit of pressure on the EU to resolve the internal disagreements blocking progress on accession by Ukraine. If they don’t find a way to move forward, they will be left behind as the US and Ukraine negotiate and implement agreements.
