Ah yes, NATO the defensive alliance. Last time i checked neither Ukraine nor Taiwan is part of NATO so why do we need to prepare to fight against 2 super nuclear power countries? Do we need a massive purge or what?
Russia can’t even defeat Ukraine and we are expecting them to invade Europe?
More like we have to be ready for a two-front conflict with Russia in the East and the US in the Northwest. With Russia threatening Eastern and Northern Europe, and the US threatening Canada and Greenland with annexation (and the open project of the Heritage Foundation to dismantle the EU), we cannot afford antagonizing China too.
We should rather admit that the US is trying to force a diplomatic revolution like in 1756 (the Franco-Prussian alliance versus an Anglo-Austrian alliance becoming a Franco-Austrian alliance versus an Anglo-Prussian alliance) and find a way to detach China from Russia. This kind of alliance reversal was also considered unthinkable at the time, but if we don’t achieve that, we will become like Poland in 39.
And America must be ready to pay a price for alienating its allies.

There will be no war with China, or with Russia, not directly. Not unless the US pulls out of NATO then all bets are off. Britain and France still have weapons of mass destruction though and the means to deliver them. Now the Chinese might try to take Taiwan obviously.
