The death tolls are increasing which is horrible to note. RIP
We have a lot of volunteers who stop here before going into Ukraine, and almost all ask about safety. There was a short window when you could say the west side of the country was relatively safe (for a war zone). Now it’s like the beginning, no where is in any measure safe. In all my deliveries in, I was never really scared (vigilant but not scared) except in the beginning of ’22 when we had car issues and were at a gas station for an extended period (back when there were lines for fuel), and another time while driving I thought a stork was a drone heading in our direction🤪.
