While Orbán, the bravest EU leader of all, won’t go to the toilet without at least 50 bodyguards sticking right out of his ass

The gentleman on the left is the most Hungarian looking guy I’ve ever seen.

I am sorry and I will probably get downvoted to hell for this but here goes:
This dare I say, propaganda (in the good sense of it) puts me off. I mean, of course, as most people here and overall in Europe, I hope Magyar defeats Orbán in the upcoming election, but I really wish for a more thoughtful discussion than some nice photo ops. Like this post means to affect my opinion of Hungarian politics, but I think that if your opinion of the Orbán regime depends on if you see Magyar in a field chatting to a random farmer or not, I don’t think you are a reasonable person and you will probably get swayed by the next angry populist movement as long as they have nice photos. Just because this says absolutely nothing about policy or anything really worthwhile discussing.

Context:
He is Péter Magyar, the leader of Tisza Party which is currently leading the polls by 15-16%. He is currently touring the country for 80 days. (This is his fourth time touring the country) His methods of transportation always changes: canoeing, cycling, going by train, horse-drawn carriage, hot air ballon, motorbiking etc. He does speeches and Q&A at every stop which are always about 1:30-2:00 hour long.

Can he actually win? Don’t most Hungarians truly support Orban? Even if Magyar wins, will Orban step down?

His name is Peter Hungarian?

Both Orban and Magyar are pro Putin so Hungary is doomed.

I’m very glad he does these tours. Orbán won his elections with votes from Hungary, losing the capital. Now it’s a chance to change that.
