Fucking hell what the internet is becoming. Just a sanitized corporate walled garden. My son will never believe it when I tell him the tales of how the internet was back in the 00s.

Just checked some profiles on mine, looks like it has just removed my ability to see any post that is 18+, but I haven’t been asked for ID yet. (Mobile App, haven’t updated it for quite a while).
Makes some profiles pretty empty.
Also just noticed that it has auto removed (or hidden) any followed profiles that must have posted something 18+, or any communities that count as 18+ from the quick bar on the left side for people you follow. There is like 5 people and just a handful of communities in that list now.
Don’t worry. It’s 100% anonymous.
Nobody will ever hack in and collect a spreadsheet that compares real names with user names.
Peoples, this is the UK, this is not the EU.
Unfortunately this will become a necessity. Not because of adult content, but because of AI bots. If you don’t want to talk to bots, we all need to be verified as humans.
