      Ahh, I really looks like it is good times.

      My biggest dream is to visit Frankfurt exactly at that time, I’ve heard a lot of stories from back then. It was still West Germany, and the progress was very high.

      When I think of Deutschland, I imagine this.

      Surprisingly similar to how it looks today. Obviously not 1:1 the same, but apart from the skyline much of the city still looks like this

      Ah yea good times — record unemployment, forests dying from acid rain, neo-Nazis making a comeback, and the Stasi tuning in from across the wall.

      I was at that hotel on picture 4 not to long ago for a visa appointment. Funny to see it 40 years ago there.
