NABU was created in part by the EU and IMF. Ukraine’s corruption levels used to be akin to Russia’s. Which is why the EU and IMF helped create an anti-corruption agency, to make Ukraine more in-line with the rest of the EU.
This is a clear consolidation of power, and it is not Zelensky’s first either. Do not let your disdain for Russia cloud your judgment on what is clearly happening in Ukraine.
It also aimed at uprooting article 30 of the Constitution of Ukraine. Now law enforcement officers can enter a residence without a court order- previously there were only rare exceptions like saving a life or apprehending a fleeing offender.
It’s equivalent to the United States Forth Amendment- protection against unreasonable searches and seizures….

Ukrainians must decide whether they want to move towards the West or preserve Russian like oligarchy and corruption levels. Getting to the EU means that some standards must be adopted.
It is beyond ridiculous that Ukrainian government/president decided to adapt the regulation changes that will result in massive protests. During the war….
