Ciao a tutti oggi mia moglie ha ricevuto questo da Finanzamt con un nuovo Steuernummer. Ci siamo sposati l’anno scorso e abbiamo presentato le tasse congiuntamente per la prima volta quest’anno (in attesa di feedback) qualcuno può aiutarmi a spiegare questa lettera e perché è stata inviata? Grazie

The tax number (as the letter says, not to mistake with the tax ID) is basically the internal case number at your tax office.
This sometimes happens due to internal mistakes at the taxes office, nothing to worry about, just use the new number from now on.
