Xi is probably the only world leader who could make Putin stop, but I am pretty sure he doesn’t want to do that, actually Xi benefits from this war.

China would probably listen if EU stops being the US vassal

Here’s the thing: Diplomacy is a two way street and China first and foremost always looks out for their own interests.

As long as the china-phobia in Europe persists China will continue to sell weapons to Russia in exchange for access to cheap oil and gas.

China wants closer ties with Europe and Europe wants the war in Ukraine to stop. If we dialed back the hostility, I’m sure we could work out an economic agreement that lets us compete with China’s command economy and still be beneficial for both sides.

It would also give us more leverage over the US. The last thing they want is Europe growing closer to China but if they don’t wanna play bal, like they don’t right now, we could just let them do their thing while we turn east.
