Then pay what they worth, Starmer.
Doctors have the best collateral; human lives. You cannot negotiate over that.
Edit: And before anyone complains and saying “This is psychotic and they should be doing their patriotic duty”, my response to that is:
Become a doctor and accept their salary then
We want our doctors to stay in the UK not go to foreign lands where they’re better paid.
It’s funny isn’t it? Now Labour are in charge all of a sudden the strikes are unnecessary and unreasonable, yet when they were on the other side of the house it was the nasty Tories refusing to pay them what they deserved.
I also found it funny that Lord Robert Winston resigned his role at the BMA, betraying his colleagues, in favour of his nice comfy red seat, now the party that put him there are in government.
