Jezbollah will just split the left wing vote even more.

Another episode of “Watch idiots build something with only a left wing and wonder why it flies in circles”.

As an European, my only view of the man is this:

The Brexit vote was almost an even split. The Tories called the referendum and ran for years on getting it done.

That left at least half the country that voted against Brexit and could have voted against getting it done.

On the face of that, this man, running Labour, decided to also support Brexit.

That’s just “how not to do politics 101”. An idea supported by half the country had no party behind it because of this man. So, if he could not even get that, I assume this party will go up in flames quite quickly.

    4. What’s even a realistic endgoal there?

If this is successful, it will long-term split the left and ease the path towards a far-right government

If this is not successful, it will go up in flames but screw with Labour a bit for one election or two

Well, I guess this is good for Putin, aw a functional Labour government brings UK closer to EU again, so this tankie must oppose that as much as he can.

It’s good to finally have a party on the left rather than corporate labour (right) conservatives (right right) or reform (far right).

Can’t wait for him to claim to have “won the argument” when he loses again

Jeremy you had your shot. Now step aside. With the right fracturing in groups, now isn’t the time for left wingers to do so

Curious what they’re going to call it “destroy labour” or “ensure conservatives win by a landslide”

    9. Meh, I’m not sure on this. I think joining the greens would’ve been the smarter option, but I also understand the advantage of creating a new structure. I think now it just comes down to whether or not they can manage a left-green alliance.

Still, if they pull it off, they might well be able to mercy-kill the Labour party and begin preparing a genuine challenge to Reform. In a better world maybe his new party would pressure Labour to shift back left, saving the Labour party, but sadly the people in charge of Labour would rather let it die than move even an inch left.

salute to Zarah Sultana, she knows anyone who overlooks genocide is despicable ; unless of course Russia is involved, since that’s actually all NATO’s fault 🤡

So they’re creating the Russian bootlicker party?

Following the playbook from Germany: One far-right Putin party (Reform; in Germany AfD), and an additional “left wing branded” Putin party (this; in Germany BSW) to take away votes from the Left.
