It is an open fire.
(I would probably currently not make any kind of fire, even with wind protected walls and bells and whistles. The ground is extremely flammable at the moment)
edit: actually there seems to be a bit mixing information what is regarded as an open fire, found this image: [metsapalovaroitus.png (1080×1080)](https://kaukokaipuumatkablogi.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/metsapalovaroitus.png) and that would suggest that place is ok. I would not risk it tho.
As it is not wind protected, it is considered an open fire.

Not considered as an open fire. It’s wind protected from all sides (fire is below sides) and it’s insulated from ground.
