Nigel Farage? Misleading and being dishonest to benefit the wealthy donors in the fossil fuel industry?
Surely not?

What people keep failing to remember (through stupidity or ideology) is that climate action is not just about meeting a few targets or setting a good example, or saving a few cute fluffy animals.
Reducing pollutants of any kind is good for our health. Between between 28,000 and 43,000 people die annually from air pollution. Now I know that’s usually because it increases existing health conditions but so what? If it wasn’t for the pollution, those people would likely still be here and in better health.
We’re living through worsening states of extended droughts in summer and floods in winter (with little in between). This is making growing crops much more difficult. You can’t grow food if all your fields are underwater or dry as the Sahara. And if we want to have this IT and AI industry the government is boasting, we’ll need a fuckton more water to keep the equipment cool that we currently don’t have.
It’s also dumb to be reliant on other nations for our energy. Farage is against green energy because he’s a Russian stooge and wants us as weak as possible for other nations to take advantage of. People conveniently forget that time he spent appearing on Russia Today (and getting paid for it). He has no loyalty to this country at all, he and his family has multi-nation citizenship so he can escape whenever things get tough (he got EU citizenship when he pushed for Brexit).
