I can see why one would be questioning this but tbh I don’t think I’d be bothered, especially since all the train bathrooms I’ve been in haven’t had a spot for changing, but I’ve only used the bathroom a few times and wait til I’m home. To me it just seems similarly to breast feeding, which I’m not weirded out by in public either. Baby’s gotta shit and eat.

Ayo wtf who does this 🤮😭 imagine the smell once that cabin heats up nice and warm. Why didn’t you do something?!

    3. Throwing the wet wipes and the diaper in the regular bin is disgusting and disrespectful for the others. I hope it doesn’t stink.

EDIT : clarification that changing your child doesn’t bother me. But not taking the wipes with you is gross.

    4. An adult in those toilets is fine… but I would not change my child in one of those. Besides it moves too much it’s much easier and calmer on a seat

But definitely NO to the waste in the bin

Happened to me once – normally I’m cool with it, but it was a hot day and it was unacceptable. Especially since we were in first class and there was the nice large handicap bathroom with a changing table in the immediate vicinity.

The train attendant happened to come by and directed them to it – they weren’t happy and I couldn’t give a flying fuck. I get having a kid is exhausting, but that isn’t hygienic.

Changing – sure, I’d do that too. Trains usually don’t really have any room for that in the bathrooms. However, I’d put the diapers and rags in a zip lock bag and take it with me.

Leaving a kid in a dirty nappy is not an option for any parent if they can help it. Their skin is so sensitive and they‘d get so sore. Changing them on the floor of a train with a changemat – or even a seat – what’s the bother? Trains usually don’t have change facilities (or not that i’ve seem yet). Just think: would you want to sit in your own poop? Leaving them in a dirty nappy would get by far smellier and uncomfortable for people than a quick two minute change on the spot.

The nappy needs to go into a nappy bag though & home or chucked at the station – definitely not left in the train bin 🤣

    8. When we had to change diapers to our son while we were on a train, we did it on a mat on the floor. Didn’t feel confortable to do it on the seat as it felt “wrong”.

On the toilet i never found a spot to change diaper, and i sure as hell wouldn’t put him down on the floor in the bathroom!

We then usually put the diaper in a small plastic bag and brought it home or threw it away at the train station we we got off the train. Feels wrong to throw it away on the train as we don’t know how warm it gets and when it will be emptied.

There is no dedicated space in trains to change diapers, only at a few stations.
I think the DB trains might have them. I don’t know about the family waggons – but they don’t always have those either.

Depends, if it was chocolate or lemonade 😀 if it was just a wet nappy it’s unlike that it is really going to smell in the bin. Dumping a brown nappy is pure wrong though.

that’s effing disgusting but I guess it was sort of an emergency.
I’ve had this in a restaurant. I’m not kidding. I didn’t have the guts to react.
      Thankfully only once.

Where are you from that it’s the first time you see something like this?

EDIT: There where only 3 stops left(10min) so they could easly take the trash with them and throw it somewehere outside in a bin…. but i didnt wanted to stare at them so im not sure if its was brown or yellow but even it was yellow it will smell overtime for sure
