Hei Alle Sammen, come afferma il titolo, mia nonna mi ha fatto un regalo di compleanno dalla Norvegia che è stato in famiglia da quando la mia famiglia si è trasferita in Canada. C’è un tappo di sughero in cima e un beccuccio, quindi non penso che sia per il tè. Nessuno in famiglia sa a cosa serve. Mi chiedo solo se qualcuno può aiutare! Tusen Takk!

To add to the confusion, that engraved cock (rooster!) on the lid looks a lot like the one on the mark from the Sætre biscuits.
From what I could find online, it’s a kettle or teapot.

Pewter pots were also used to store beer, I think, grandpa had one at least (not the same design but same material).
