The fact that it didn’t immediately run from the light is a good sign already 😉
When the back of their neck is just brown, like this one I think and there are no black stripes its just an amber roach. Still annoying and kinda disgusting but they wont do any harm and cant reproduce and live in your home. They live outside and can fly, so they sometimes come visit you inside.
