Good? – 70% of UK is Obese or Overweight. Anything that reduces that number will save billions in the NHS in the long run.
If only there was jab for exercise, binge drinking and poor diet. We could half the size of the NHS and workers could pocket the difference.

Have a third of young people actually tried amending their diet and exercising?

What about just doing regular exercise to keep your body healthy, strong and slim?

I see obese kids as victims, they need all the help they can get.
Young people have been bombarded with cheap food, they’ll have been brought up with poor diets, now there is a simple solution to being overweight of course they want it. Long term people need to adapt, eat less and more healthily, the jabs may help some get to a place they can do that.

How incredibly… Predictable it is that there’s so many people here who *still* just can’t be happy that there’s a way to help people lose weight. Rather sit around saying “well in my day your boot straps pulled you up by the throat and then screamed at you whilst your enemies laughed in your face” than just let people who are obviously struggling in a way they aren’t have a little bit of support.
What a bunch of cunts. “Your obesity is costing the NHS!!!!” at the same time as “This solution to your obesity is costing the NHS!!!!”
Fuck off man. Honestly I can’t with you all. Clearly have never struggled with anything yourselves.

People want results without the bother of all that effort and discipline? Wow what a completely new concept

Half of all MPs are on weight loss drugs but to get it on the NHS you have to be overweight and have a weight related health condition. They should lower that bar. I’m fortunate enough to be fit and active my whole life. I don’t think I will ever need the drug but clearly others do and not giving it to people until they develop a weight related health condition is cruel.

Everybody just wants the easy solution, nobody wants to put in any work at all to improve themselves. It’s the same with fat jabs, turkey teeth, crypto rich quick schemes.
It’s all just utter laziness nonsense

Whilst the jabs are likely a benefit. Are people not a little worried that the solution many are suggesting is for young people to potentially be dependent on medication (manufactured for a profit), to maintain a healthy weight for the rest of their life.
