      This boils my blood.
      Subjected the woman to all kinds of abuse and walks out of court, and isn’t even named.

      Arranged marriage… wife being made stay with in laws when husband is out of the country on business… wtf are we letting into this country?

      Nice for the coercive nature of these arrangements to be noticed. The woman is very brave for breaking a cultural taboo and going ahead with her complaint.

      If the guy lived “most of his life” in Ireland, then he should know how to behave towards another human being, and esp. his wife.

      When did they stop naming people? Is it a recent thing? Was some sort of policy brought in? I always seem to remember people being named but now it’s rare. Think it’s in the public good to know who these scumbags are

      ‘Restricted his wife’s food’? WTF is wrong with some people? Basically one step away from keeping her locked in an underground basement!

      Respect to the brave lady for speaking up. Unfortunately it seems that women are only taken seriously once they are killed here

      Hmm… I don’t believe restricting someone’s food & warmth is down to ‘emotional immaturity’.

      Why can’t this fella be named!? If he was on business/work trips, so he has to be some senior manager in a company, he has to be named and shamed ,😡😡😡
