Many will accuse those who are angry at the Ukraine’s government as Russian trolls but I think it’s understandable why many Europeans are angry at this even the most devout defenders of Ukraine.
Ukraine is literally fighting against an invasion and those politicians who are supposedly elected by the people have voted to abolish the independence of corruption agencies which by the way is a very big step towards an oligarchy or a dictatorship as no one can hold them accountable just to increase their power and protect them from facing accountability for corruption.
Of course they are angry at them.
Did none of those politicians who have voted for this bill think for a moment that now is not the time to risk losing support over this and that Ukraine’s safety should come first?
I’ve read other kyevindipendent articles about the subject and from their prospective, probably, they were sure they would get away with it.
I think this scenario proved many things and of course, if at the end of this there will hopefully be a Ukraine left, Zelensky won’t be relected. But also that the people took the streets to fight for their rights and weren’t repressed.
None of us live in a country without corruption, this could happen to any of us
Plenty of reasons to dislike Zelensky anyone who’s deeply informed and not just being spoon fed Western pro Zelensky hope core propaganda knows what he really is….. (down vote me I don’t care)
The great tragedy is that the only winner is Putin. The blunder came just as the tide has been turning slightly in Ukraine’s favour. Zelenskyy must act swiftly and resolutely to repair the damage.

Didnt they find out russia had infiltrated it. Eg. would have the power to accuse any pro-eu politician of corruption, while protecting the ones on russias payroll?
Ukraine is at war against an insidious enemy. Heavyhandedness might be appropriate for their survival.
