Pochi giorni dopo l’assalto di Tallaght, un altro medico indiano fu brutalmente attaccato a Lucan. Anche il Garda e il governo tacciono. Cosa sta succedendo a questo bellissimo paese.

Protests from the other side, normal people, need to build up steam. The government need to start handing these groups of teens full adult daily sentences and name them so they’re unemployable. Parents should then also be questioned over it. Simple as.

Edit: if you see this shite happening, get involved. Be safe, but if you’re in a group or in a position to help then do. Ireland needs to fight back.

These people doing this, marching, cosplaying as nazis are not the people of Ireland. They are not simply concerned with safety, community or otherwise. They stood side by side with loyalist murderers who see them as vermin and knelt before them. These people aren’t a block of good working people these people are exactly what they acxuse immigrants to be. These people are jobless due to themselves, unfit and incompatible with our society, bottom feeders just demanding more and more and offering nothing. Society needs to start changing things for these people but equally stop putting up with them and stop allowing them to pretend they form any part of our society. They’re the worst of the worst and are a danger to all of us.

      Fight back.

Unregulated social media is reckless and poison to society. Far right Nazi billionaires should never be allowed to control the narratives

This is terrible. There have always been problems with groups of anti social teens but clearly the McGregor brigade are giving them an enemy to target.

We need stricter laws for underage crime, particularly violent crime. The fear of actual repercussion would prevent so many of these attacks as these little scrotes are all cowards in reality.

How has Lucan been a dump forever? How have things not changed there through the normal ebb and flow of people moving there?

    6. space-cadaver on

How can one fight back when you are immediately in the wrong for attacking someone under 18? There is zero repercussions for these horrible teenagers

The biggest problem for us Indians who have been attacked in Ireland is that when we post about it on social media, we are downvoted, sent aggressive racist chats, and even the good Irish people say “these groups attack Irish too” which is very hurtful and dismissive. The worst part is we are not listened to.

The situation for Indians in Ireland is deteriorating at an alarming rate, but nobody is listening to Indians.

The people who post on reddit in support are not the white Irish I meet on the street who either silently support these attacks (walking past without intervening or helping) or they will shout paki or bin Laden and laugh. And that is not teenagers, I have seen men in 50s shout paki.

Your government doesn’t care. The people don’t care. I say with certainty that Ireland is not safe for Indians now.

And yet your universities continue to recruit thousands of young vulnerable Indians who have put their families in huge lifetime debt and will arrive here in the next weeks, and who knows where they will end up or what will happen to them.

Until we get stronger enforcement and harsher sentencing for underage crime, the areas where this sort of thing is more likely to happen will just get worse. There’s the racist element, but there’s also the fact that the same scummers will be out crashing their stolen scrambler into someone’s front door later.

    9. Talmamshud91 on

It’s because there is no fear of authority. Gards cant touch them, nor can teachers and their parents are doing fuck all.

Well, my comment is going to backfire. But why are Indians going to Ireland to begin with? Things aren’t perfect in US, but I have tons of friends from India who do very well here. I hear complaints in Australia too! Forget Ireland. Move to America!

    11. Zealousideal_Car9368 on

Until we hold teenagers accountable (Legally) for this will only get worse.

You assault someone, you go and pay for that by sitting in a cell. Simple.

Why none of the parties in this country can see this is just beyond me, because whichever party comes out and says we will make changes legally and make teenagers pay for their crimes properly, will walk into power in the next election.

    12. daherlihy on

Until we have more and better prisons and detention centres, the judicial system will never be able to be strict in their sentencings, therefore having little merit towards the efforts of the guards in apprehending these scumbags.

I live in Canada now and imagine me or one of my mates got the head lopped off us by some teens over here cos we’re foreign. There would be uproar. Similar uproar should exist in Ireland over this horrific stuff

    14. Calm-Tension7576 on

The government don’t care – should there be more self defence classes locally for people ?

    15. J_dizzle86 on

I don’t agree with these attacks obviously on anyone not just indians. I myself would probably step in but I can see why a lot of people wouldn’t.

If you hit or even retrain a minor there is every chance the gards will charge you, the adult, with assault. You also face the possibility of the title shits parents doing something to you.

      The place has gone mad.

I am in Galway at the races – yesterday I saw two teenage male Travellers hassling people near eyre square and kicking other young teenagers passing – two female gardai nearby could see it but they looked afraid of the youths and disappeared in the other direction – what we need is Spanish type police that aren’t afraid of these thugs and that would stop a lot of the crap

📢 Violent Crimes should be trialed as adult, no matter what age the perpetrators are

    20. Airbus787- on

Irish people get mugged / randomly jumped and the goverment doesn’t take action. An American tourist was put in a coma and the attacker got 20 months only.

With Indians its always played up as racism so it gets more coverage but the same thing happens constantly without serious consequences to Irish people.

The government needs to get serious on all crime, including random acts of violence / muggings.

    21. Reasonable-Bowl1304 on

Criminals have no fear of the justice system. Teenagers in particular. They get brought before the courts, get a slap on the wrist and then they are back out on the street. They still get their dole, free housing etc.

    22. whos_asking89 on

We could all start reporting the “patriots” organising “patrols” online and to the garda. The far rigth have been aloud to stir up hate for weeks now. This is just the tip of the iceberg and we all know it. If we as a country keep turning a blind eye to the problem we are no better them the racist mobs committing the crimes.

    23. SNLCOG4LIFE on

Teenagers who want to act the bollox should face the consequences as adults. They know they can get away with it so no deterrent to stop them

Ireland bringing back p*ki bashing on this level before England? As it stands, I wouldn’t DREAM letting my mum or dad visit Dublin while they happily walk around in London at all hours of the day. (Well not my mum at night, that’s a given anywhere.)

We’ve got racism here but as it stands we’re safer around English people. Hows that happened?
