yes he was but how come he did nothing for it?
Lets look at France,he has been in power for how long?
What is their deficit?
The problem in Europe is every failed politician can talk,but almost none ever acts on it.
France has strategic autonomy to call Putin, when Russia kills others for zero costs.
It was de Gaulle policy, to be fair.
I hope relations with the U.S. will improve in the post-Trump era. But Macron’s point remains valid.
Oh please, this is not a Macron thing.
I think the Western Europeans didn’t realize how heavy that American boot was resting on them… lots of tough talk and I’m sure u do have a better quality of life… but they didn’t just give u all that martial aid out of the kindness of their heart I doubt they do much out of the kindness of their hearts… funny to see the “oh we are so strong and independent” like we don’t fight their pointless wars bend over to their tariffs consume literally all of their technology (X, insta, facebook, Reddit) their music etc their movies when they say jump typically we only ask how high🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
