You mean the Nazi fuckers with a history of lying lied?

Misinformation is going to be the order of the day when it comes to things like this
[removed]
The man was an Irish citizen born in Ireland but his parents are both from Pakistan if anyone is wondering how the misinformation spread so quickly seeing as the article doesn’t even mention it??? https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/courtandcrime/arid-41679278.html
Ethnicity he is Pakistani, he’s also an Irish citizen. The two things can be true.
This’ll be good
It’s painfully obvious the media are terrified of mentioning two things. Terrorism and foreign when it comes to these sorts of incidents. I don’t think we’ll ever get to the point where the gov actually admit something is terrorism, even if it was a tarrorist attack. We’re absolutely due our day, if it hasn’t already happened here already but labeled as the usual, nothing to see here. That Parnell attack on those kids still doesn’t sit right with me. I’m not fully convinced that was just a lone nutjob acting on bad mental health impulses. I wouldn’t be one for getting involved with far right nonsense but I’m increasingly worried we’re being led down a path that ends in a way we’re not ready for.
The other thing people don’t seem to realise is the media have rules too. Just because x y and z on fb or x says it’s such and such, doesn’t mean the media can report that unless they are 100% right. As frustrating as it is, they can’t leave themselves open. I do think they run too far the other way tho.
But does him being irish or pakistani make this better or worse? I dont understand why every violent crime revolves around this. We have examples of every nationality doing crazy things recently so is one ok and other not or are they both equality shocking and should receive maximum sentence
He’s ethnically and culturally Pakistani though, both of his parents are Pakistani. What a pointless article.
You know the fact check is garbage when they can’t even allow comments on the article.
If his parents were American, French or German or British what would the response be.
We all came from Africa, it’s just a matter of how far back you want to go.
The common denominator for the vast majority of violent attacks in Ireland is gender and age. Men between about 16 and 50 (lower even) are responsible for the vast majority of violence and it’s time we acknowledged that and considered deporting them all to Menistan where they can just attack each other.
It does such terrible damage to the credibility of the media when they ‘debunk’ something that is substantially true. The Pakistani heritage of the attacker had been reported on before this article was published. What possible justification was there to leave it out?
We’ve backed ourselves into a very dangerous corner if we can’t acknowledge the relevance of someone’s foreign heritage lest we be seen as racist. As our European neighbours have discovered, it is the second and third-generation immigrants who are most prone to extremism.
Psychosis? Town has so many crazies lately. We need a new psych hospital along with that new prison.
The Journal want you to believe that just because someone becomes an Irish citizen, then they are Irish, end of story, do not ask any more questions. If I spend years in the USA and become an American citizen, I’m still ethnically and culturally Irish.
There is no misinformation here. These people just don’t believe he is Irish no matter what his passport says
