    1. Absolutely embarrassing. Not only did they reverse this (maybe), the whole world is more skeptical than ever about the Ukrainian government and those in the cabinet.

Trust takes time to build and can be lost in the blink of an eye. This has set things back significantly.

One of the things that the Ukrainian government has consistently struggled with is communication with the rest of the world. This whole ordeal highlights that more than ever.

The Ukrainian people have already been skeptical of the government for some time and now this is introducing skepticism from foreign governments and foreign nationals at a very fragile time when things just started to improve again.

They screwed up big time. This is the largest PR failure on Ukraine’s end. The trust will take years to rebuild.

Can someone please summarise what has happened, who is responsible and how does this vote now change things?

Yeah damn, I immediately stopped all recurring donations to united24.

Thanks to this reddit im still able to Donate directly, of course there were Black sheep here and there (that I luckily avoided) in the past. Seems like I have to trust a curated list here on reddit, please mods, continue to do a good job at verifying people. What a slap in the face to the soldiers on the front line risking their life day in day out. Even more respect now for everyone fighting for a greater good.

Anytime someone tells you laws are slow to change and cannot be done quickly, I will think of this.

      1. Hey let’s do this law because of such a such.
      2. Passes law.
      3. Oh no, we are going to be broke and nobody likes us!
      4. Law removed.
