Absolutely embarrassing. Not only did they reverse this (maybe), the whole world is more skeptical than ever about the Ukrainian government and those in the cabinet.
Trust takes time to build and can be lost in the blink of an eye. This has set things back significantly.
One of the things that the Ukrainian government has consistently struggled with is communication with the rest of the world. This whole ordeal highlights that more than ever.
The Ukrainian people have already been skeptical of the government for some time and now this is introducing skepticism from foreign governments and foreign nationals at a very fragile time when things just started to improve again.
Such a shame… In front of the whole world… I’m tired of this idiocy.

They screwed up big time. This is the largest PR failure on Ukraine’s end. The trust will take years to rebuild.
