I think its time to station US Nuclear weapons in Poland.

Bullies target the weak, and only intensify their actions when they see weakness.

Why can Russians bitch and moan and threaten us with Nukes for locating European or American weapons on our own territory but Russians can station their weapons in Belarus with no complaints from the west?

Yeah I know Belarus is a vassal state of Russia and are de facto Russian, A nation of Slaves to a nation of slaves if you will.

But I think showing Russians weakness is not a good strategy.

    2. I started listening to a podcast on the Cuban missile crisis yesterday, so I guess it’s nice to get the real-life experience as a bonus.

I thought they already had those deployed there. Huh.

Maybe Europe should put some nuke on Finland, Poland, Romania, Germany etc.

will be stolen and sold in pieces until they reach Belarus. davai fuel, davai warhead

    6. maskatuoklis on

But they already stockpile hell of an arsenal in Kaliningrad. What’s the point to have nukes in Belarus?

It’s time for NATO to free (not occupy) belarus

We supposed to be afraid this Oreshnik? Russian army demonstrated its total importance in face of Ukrainian forces… if Oreshnik was as much of game changer as Putin & Co implies, Ukrainian war would be over by now. Not to mention, Belorussia is father east than Kaliningrad… and they already have missiles there… moving missiles further East is not a threat.

    9. At this point I’m okay with a nuclear war if it means that Russia gets eradicated from the map. Tired of Putin’s bs.

Classic Putin playbook. The strategic difference between launching from Kaliningrad/Smolensk or Belarus is negligible if the primary selling point of the missile is that it’s “unstoppable”. The real targets of this move are the headlines it generates in the West and the political loyalty it forces upon Lukashenka.

And so, the Russian roulette begins. If you know what I mean.

Who gives a shit tbh I was so sure they already have all kinds of weapons in Belarus already

    13. Serpent90 on

Do we tell him that these have a minimum range and cannot be fired at targets that are too close?

Considering that an IRBM fired from within russia can already reach Iceland or Portugal, moving these missiles to Belarus is only a threat to uninformed people. Also Oreshnik is repackaged soviet trash that they can’t even manufacture to a proper standard.

    14. Time for Europe to threaten Putin with Oreshnik missiles in Belarus too! 😂

russians are really the champions when it comes to dumb ass names.

Most of them detonate right at the launch. So a closer starting location is more dangerous

What difference does it make? They want to have Azores in range?

    18. Wasn’t he just saying that he has no intentions towards Europe? That we have no need to rearm?

    19. UnlikelyHero727 on

Makes no sense, the most effective way to shoot down an ICBM is in the initial climb phase, it being closer to NATO border makes it easier to shoot down.

    20. Submarines with SLBMs make all this posturing so pointless and clearly for the media

    21. The title is wrong and this is how we should write it down:

A lunatic with nuclear warheads threatens to kill all life on Earth.
