      Welcome to climate change kids!

They’ve saying for decades that in the UK it will lead to more weather extremes and more unpredicable weather.

Rain when the soil is bone dry creates flood risk as the surface is too baked dry to absob the rainfall.

Watch the warnings on this one if in potentially affected areas – with trees in full leaf it could do a lot more damage than it would later in the year.

Storms are scary, and scary things scare children.

We should think of the kids and put this news behind an age rating.

    5. I read that as unreasonably.

I’m on board with that sort of weather reporting.

These news articles about storm warnings never just show a map with the affected areas. They say “areas of north England and Scotland”, but just post a picture of a UK map with the warning areas!

I’ll be thinking of you all from my sunlounger in Crete.

Don’t worry everyone, it’ll only affect the North.
