I am all for taking Russia as a threat seriously but all this over the top fearmongering from Ukraine is fucking exhausting and damaging its credibility in this regard immensely.

If Russia is failing to take one of the poorest most corrupt countries in Europe it sure as hell not measuring up to NATO.
If Russia is resorting to storm tactics with less and less armored vehicles and more and more golf carts and offroad bikes its not going to start a war with the rest of Europe.
If Russia rather recruits nigerians and nepalese nationals instead drafting nationals to the frontlines because it is afraid of public sentiment it sure as hell wouldn’t start a conflict that would result in tens of thousands dead russians every single day and every large city getting clobbered by missile and drone barrages constantly.

NATO is the shield of Europe.
You are NOT defending all of of Europe.
You are only defending yourself.

This is old news. It’s also pretty meh. $1,100B over an eleven years period equals $100B/year, which is less than they spend today, and **much** less than NATO is spending today.
The fact that they are investing in refilling their stocks after the war is no stranger than NATO countries ramping up spendings.

People here seem to imagine that Russia would attempt to carry out a frontal assault on NATO. Clearly not. They many alternative options to disrupt, divide, and ultimately conquer us.

Lose all customers to your energy and minerals? What’s the point with that? Do you hate The West that much or are you just trying to collect political points and feed your insanity and ego?”
