      Classic BBC spin

      >overseas trip

It wasn’t an overseas trip to somewhere in Europe or the Caribbean.

It was Israel. She went on an all-expenses paid for trip to a country currently at war and being investigated for war crimes.

Oh and she had private meetings with a foreign nation’s president. One that is also being investigated for war crimes.

In any other country, this would be a big WTF and journalists would be scrutinising it for weeks.

But nope, radio silence on this particular story.

      I wonder why.

Ban all freebies. If a trip is required the parliamentary party pays.

Administrative error being whipped up into a story because of where she went, classic bait

‘Labour friends of Israel’ group. Get this lot out at the next election.

Nothing to see here. Move along people. Journalists not allowed in (or murdered along with their families) but UK MP’s get the guided tour of Palestine. Much doubt.

Why on earth did they write the headline the way they did? Would they have said that if it was America for example? I very much doubt it.
