I was in Tesco earlier and the all the Muller and Yoplait and and some other stock was gone from their shelves. Not seeing any recall on those on the FSAI site. Whole yoghurt aisle bare. Very strange.

Gas the marketing from some of the companies, family this / fresh that, essentially their marketing depts haven’t a fucking clue how this stuff is sold to you.
Pesticides to beat the band to grow it, then it’s all lumped in together with all the corporations’ stuff, in questionable factories, and carefully placed on shelves for you to buy.
Fuck sake prices have never been higher. There’s some amount of gouging going on in fairness. Then on top of that they’ve let the bollocks fall out of food safety standards. I got really sick and I’m fairly sure it was from one of these products. Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t know? Because I’m going to move away from buying them and try to buy from butchers etc. there’s someone making a killing out of this drop in standards and it has to change. It’s like a never ending competition to see who can get the most plastic packaging on a product as well. Fuck then now is all I have to say.

Was at a party tonight and we talked about the whole ongoing listeria shenanigans.
All agreed we will be cremating food for the foreseeable. Just like how we ate it as kids.

I have this really awful feeling this’ll be the next excuse for price increases.

Also gas that a few weeks ago so many people said they don’t wash their stuff because they’ve [_never been sick_](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskIreland/s/5iHIDW7jGs).
