Why are these people waving Union Jacks and St George’s flags to protest about asylum seekers in hotels?
Why are our national flags relevant to this demonstration?

One man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker after an officer was pushed. He was taken into custody.
“Officers remain in the area to provide reassurance to local residents and businesses, to ensure that any further protest takes place peacefully, and to respond to any incidents.”

A lot of people in Epping have been getting a bit too excited over this protest in Canary Wharf, and have actively been encouraging others to go there to protest.
Now remember back to when Epping had the worst of their protests, and they said outright that those coming into Epping were a rent a nob with no significant interest in the town, and those coming in from elsewhere were the problem, not the concerned locals.
Yes, they’re now doing it. The hypocrisy stinks. Oddly there’s another protest being organised today, and that too has led to some issues already.

You don’t have to look very far at these “patriotic” protests to spot the far right.
I am sure many are concerned locals but not all.
At some of the events, such as the one in Dover or the March in Manchester people are protesting under the banner of the patriotic alliance or Britain first so they are completely aligned to far right organisations.
They are being stirred up by gb news and the like.
