Ho appena trascorso una settimana in questo bellissimo paese, ma qualcosa che non riesco a avvolgere la testa è lo stato delle auto. Ogni altra auto sulla strada sembra così, sono ancora autorizzati a guidare? Nel Regno Unito, questi sarebbero considerati cancellati (troppo pericolosi da guidare). Inoltre, ho già guidato in molti paesi, ma l’Armenia è lassù con alcuni dei conducenti più aggressivi che abbia mai visto. Affermare le curve cieche, nessun indicatori utilizzato, seguire un segnale acustico se osi fermarti e fai un giro, l’elenco continua. È normale per gli armeni?

Many cars in Armenia are damaged imports.
While, unfortunately many drive like insane clowns, a good amount of cars you see in such a state, is because they were imported that way. It was a lucrative business, and people still make money on it.
Armenia isn’t unfortunately there yet, where the vast majority of the population can go to official dealers and get a new car, or certified used car. A lot of the cars come trashed and get fixed locally, as that is what the good portion of the population can afford.

These all seem to be taken in the same rural area. Yerevan has more newer and nicer cars on the road than the UK.
But yes, these cars that get wrecked in the US/EU get bought cheaply and imported to be fixed up in Armenia.
