You an see where you got hit by a small stone when driving, the impact is on the left end on the beginning of the crack.

Unless you can prove the dealer was hiding that impact from you, for example by covering it with their hands so you can see it, it’s an insurance case.

Teilkasko and possible copay depending on your contract.

With full insurance you should get it replaced. You’ll only play your deductible for Teilkasko, and your bonuses will not be impacted.

For a new windshield it is generally the better deal to pay yourself.

For Vollkasko, you usually have a deductible of 500-1000€. A new windshield, if you don’t have a fancy one with a head up display or similar, is like 1000-1200€ (incl. work hours). If you price in the increased premiums, it normally won’t be worth it.

One tip: Go to Carglass or an idependent garage, not an official BMW vendor. They are just as competent but will cost 20-30% less.

Safelite repair, safelite replace 🎶 Carglass repariert, Carglass tauscht aus 😉
